Our Client needed a new double garage with self-contained guest accommodation above on the side of their beautiful home on Bearsted Green, near Maidstone.
The challenge was to create a building large enough to provide all required space yet comply with planning policy in this sensitive landscape area.
The solution was to ensure the external appearance to bulk and mass was subservient to the main home by reducing the ridge heights and by also using traditional local materials that match seamlessly in the street scene. This Oak Framed building now sits effortlessly on the plot and is being enjoyed by our Clients and their family everyday.
